Welcome to and thank you for visiting our website. Gilley's TanSpa was founded on customer service and quality tanning at a fair price. We have provided well maintained equipment, the best trained tanning technicians, with a comfortable and clean tanning experience since 1982. EQUIPMENT
Sunbeds
The systems (sunbeds) we use are from ETS Incorporated. You can learn more about the beds we use by clicking on the ETS ® logo. Be sure and look at their High Pressure Facial and the new Speed System.
If you are interested in a sunbed for home, go to the ETS website and choose the bed that best suits your needs. Then call or e-mail us with any questions you may have or about purchasing an ETS sunbed from Gilley's TanSpa.
Tanning Bed Manufacturers:
Manufacturers have combined low pressure mercury vapor lamps using the familiar fluorescent tubes with high pressure facial lamps giving you more color in the more resistant facial areas and reducing the tanning time per visit with more days between visits to accommodate today's busy schedules.
We have tested all the lamps used in our sunbeds and found a bulbs useful hour life is less than some bulb manufacturers ratings state.Gilley's Lamp Tests:
A low pressure mercury vapor lamp is rated for 1000 hours.
After testing we found the lamp dips below our standards after 750 hours.
Facial lamps are rated for 750 hours.
After testing we found the lamp dips below our standards after 500 hours. Gilley's TanSpa sunbeds are computer controlled and no bed is ever operated with lamps that have dropped below our stringent quality standards.
Gilley's Beds:
All equipment is in excellent operating condition at all times.
In the unlikely event you have a problem with your equipment please tell your tanning technician immediately so the problem can be corrected or you can be moved to another sunbed for the remainder of you session.
Credit cannot be given if you tell the attendant after your session.
Please remember lamps are similar to light bulbs and give no warning before burning out. A little about Indoor Tanning.
Tanning Facts:
You can control the amount of UVA and UVB rays in an indoor salon vs. tanning in the sun.
Natural sunlight has a higher UVB rating which is a burning ray than UVA rays that give you the golden tan.
Natural sunlight is unpredictable, since indoor tanning is a controlled envirornment you are receiving the right amount of UVA and UVB rays to get a nice golden tan. We also provide music from our customers most requested local radio station for your listening pleasure.
New at Gilley's is an innovative self tanning device that was designed for people who want a golden tan, but prefer not to use UV light. It is also the perfect way to take your tan to the next level. Just seconds in the Sunless Express Spray Spa and you will come out looking good and feeling great! The Sunless Express Spray Spa provides an even, golden tan that lasts up to five days.

LOTIONS
Tanning and Accelerating
The only accepted lotions and accelerators are the ones we sell.

Brands We Sell:
We guarantee their results with our equipment.
They all have been tested by us. Some products contain SPF's (sun screens) that reduce your exposure time and tanning results.
Prohibited Lotion Ingredients:
mineral oil
minx oil
baby oil
wax
fillers Products with the above ingredients destroy our acrylics by leaving a film that blocks the tanning ray. In many cases the oil cannot be cleaned off or the oil is baked into the acrylic from the heat and must be replaced.
We are constantly testing new products to introduce to our clients but with the large number of products on the market it is impossible to test every one. In most cases if we don't sell the product it is because it did not meet our standards or we feel the product's performance was not what was promoted by the manufacturer.
